Privacy policy

FootNation, a platform published by FLEX IMMO (FI), attaches the utmost importance to the protection of the personal data of football enthusiasts, clubs and professionals. This policy describes the processing carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

1. Collected data

• Identity: last name, first name, profile photo, date of birth.
• Contact details: email, telephone, social links.
• Profile data: soccer roles, career paths, statistics, shared content.
• Matching data: search preferences, swipe history, compatibility, likes and super likes sent/received.
• Location data: city, department, region, country for search area and geographic matching.

Technical data: connection logs, IP address, device, preferences (theme, language).

Transactional data for subscriptions and boosts (customer ID, payment status).

• 2. Goals
• The data is used for :
• Create and manage your FootNation account.
• Connect members of the football ecosystem and facilitate exchanges via the matching system (swipe, likes, super likes).
• Customer support, moderation and security.

Improve functionality and produce anonymized usage statistics (basic for Pro, advanced with AI for Elite).

Manage localization for the search area (local, regional, national, international) and geographic matching.

Propose tailored offers (transactional emails, opt-in newsletters).

3. Legal basis

Processing is based on the performance of the contract of use, consent (newsletters, cookies), FootNation's legitimate interest in securing the platform and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations (billing, fraud prevention).

4. Recipients

Data is accessible to internal teams (support, product), to other users in accordance with your visibility settings, as well as to technical service providers (Supabase hosting, analytics, messaging). No transfer is made outside the European Union without appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).

5. Shelf life

Accounts are retained for the duration of their use. In the event of prolonged inactivity (24 months), we contact the user before deletion. Billing data is retained for 10 years. Technical logs are retained for 12 months.

6. User rights
